Carnot Game Overview Carnot Game is an interactive experience inspired by the Carnot Cycle, in which the player alternates among three thermal sources (hot, insulator, and cold) to maximize the work performed by the piston inside a cylinder. The objective is to maintain the piston within the ideal Carnot cycle by changing sources at the proper moments, preventing the cylinder from freezing or exploding. The more closely the player follows the Carnot cycle, the greater their score and advancement.
To change the system’s thermal source, the player must press the button while ensuring that each transition occurs at the correct time so the piston does not jam and the cylinder does not explode. The Carnot cycle is made up of four thermodynamic processes
