The key distinction is that checkers move and capture horizontally and vertically rather than diagonally, which is typical of most well-known checkers variants. As a result, the starting setup is also unique. On the 64-square board, each player positions 16 checkers across every square of the second and third rows. The game can be played against artificial intelligence, another person on the same device, or an online multiplayer opponent. You may also observe other matches as a spectator or propose your own idea for the next move by placing it on the board.
